Northern California experienced record breaking rains this year. I tried to remember that as I painted this piece. I wanted to make everything look as green as possible. The hint of golden sunlight breaks through the sky as this happy couple doesn't let the weather distract them from each other's attraction.

yes, it is watercolors. i just completed a bunch of digital classes at a local community college that didn't give me the opportunity to do watercolors. i was aching to get back into them. the classes are done so...i'm painting again. it's nice to get my hands dirty again.
